Rhodes Scholarship

Perhaps the most well-known national fellowship of them all, the Rhodes Scholarship funds two-to-three years of graduate study at the University of Oxford in most fields.  The Rhodes Trust sets four broad criteria for evaluating applicants: academic excellence; energy to use one’s talents to the full; truth, courage, devotion to duty, sympathy for and protection of the weak, kindliness, unselfishness, and fellowship; and moral force of character and instincts to lead.  Thirty-two applicants from the United States are selected each year.

In order to participate in the campus nomination process, all applicants must submit their completed applications by the ÃÛÌÒ½´deadline.
