The Global Education Institute (GEI) Program
The Moody School’s strategic partnership with the Global Education Institute (GEI) provides admission processing services for international students in the following programs:
- M.S., Lyle School of Engineering
- M.S., Applied Economics and Predictive Analytics
- M.S., Applied Statistics and Data Analytics
The GEI program includes the Pre-Master Program (PMP), which is a matriculation pathway that provides international students intensive academic English courses, as well as courses from SMU. It accepts students based on existing admission standards and offers international students who do not currently have standardized test (e.g., TOEFL, GRE) scores the opportunity to demonstrate their academic abilities required to be successful at SMU. The program also provides assistance to international students in direct admission applications. Tuition payment processing through GEI is free of charge, so the tuition amount remains the same as listed on SMU’s website.
Visit the Global Education Institute website for additional information regarding this partnership or contact Jenny Chen jenny.chen@smu.edu.
