Catherine Schneider

Catherine Schneider grew up in the Dallas area, graduating from Ursuline Academy of Dallas in 2006 and subsequently she has made a successful career as a felony criminal prosecutor who handles serious offenses throughout the state of Texas. She has tried well over 100 jury trials for over a decade. Catherine has experience working on cases that range from DWI misdemeanors up to felony murder and serious child abuse offenses. Catherine Schneider started her career working on criminal cases in Nueces, Collin and Dallas Counties as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney, and in 2022 she took a position in San Marcos, Texas where she currently serves as a Felony Court Chief and part of senior management team at the Hays County Criminal District Attorney’s Office.
She has brought her jury trial experience and evidentiary knowledge to ÃÛÌÒ½´as a mock trial coach since Fall of 2018. Alongside her co-coaches Courtney Sines and Lili Nelson, Catherine has brought her team to National Finals for the ABA Labor and Employment Competition, multiple finalists in other competitions, and has been a part of the beginning of a brand new competition that specializes in jury selection.
