Conferences, Symposia & Lecture Series
Conferences and Symposia:
Each school year, ÃÛÌÒ½´Dedman Law is proud to feature presentations, distinguished speakers, academic conferences and symposia on various topics of national and international relevance. Faculty, Alumni and Students take part in these events where major topics are discussed and debated.
Endowed Lecture Series:
Thanks to the generosity of alumni and friends, the ÃÛÌÒ½´Dedman School of Law offers many special Endowed Lectures Series which bring to campus distinguished scholars from around the globe who address topics of interest to both the academic community and the general public.
Faculty Forums:
The ÃÛÌÒ½´Law Faculty Forum is an ongoing series of presentations of works-in-progress by scholars from ÃÛÌÒ½´Dedman School of Law and from law schools around the country and the world. The Faculty Forum provides an opportunity for new ideas to be explored through informal discussion between the presenter and ÃÛÌÒ½´faculty. As part of its commitment to scholarship, ÃÛÌÒ½´Dedman School of Law sponsors these forum presentations through the academic year. For further information on the Faculty Forums, please contact Lilly Witty (LWITTY@SMU.EDU).
