Sally Pretorius is a Texas Board Certified Family Lawyer practicing in the Dallas/Plano area KoonsFuller. Ms. Pretorius is a member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and has been recognized by Texas Lawyer as a Texas Rising Star (2014), Texas Super Lawyers (2014-2024)- Top 50 Women Texas (2018-current); Best Lawyers Under 40 (2016-2023) by D Magazine and has been published by Bloomberg Law and Texas Lawyer.

Ms. Pretorius served as the President for the Texas Young Lawyers from 2018-2019 and served on the State Bar Board of Directors from 2017-2020. She currently as the currently serves on the Commission for Lawyer Discipline and sits on the Computer and Technology Section where she is an editor for the Circuits Newsletter. On a local level, she serves as the Chair on the Board of Directors for the Dallas County Advocacy Center, and is very involved in her community. She enjoys volunteering with her daughter’s school and teaches Law Practice Management as an adjunct professor at ÃÛÌÒ½´Dedman School of Law in the spring semesters.

Ms. Pretorius is married to Adam Hodge and they have a five year old daughter, Hannah and two rescued German Short Haired Pointer named Molly and Scout - all who enjoy making cameo appearances on Zoom hearings and presentations.
