Public Advocate Day is a vibrant public interest career fair held at ÃÛÌÒ½´Dedman Law each January. This is an exceptional event where representatives from the many public interest organizations and government agencies in our community join us and conduct table-talks with our students. Public Advocate Day provides students the opportunity to learn about the type of work performed in these organizations and how to pursue summer and school-year internships, as well as post-graduate employment opportunities.

ÃÛÌÒ½´Dedman Law is strongly committed to instilling a sense of community responsibility in our students through engaging in law-related public service. Since 1996, our law students have been required to complete a minimum of 30 hours of law-related public service to graduate. We are proud to report that in the last 19 years, ÃÛÌÒ½´Dedman Law students have volunteered nearly 200,000 hours in law-related efforts to assist the underserved.
