About

Dr. Chadwick is a Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University and her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University. She completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology from the University of Oklahoma in 2014. Throughout her graduate training, Dr. Chadwick had the opportunity to teach an undergraduate course in Career Exploration, as well as repeatedly taught Clinic Orientations for student in the Master of Counseling Psychology program. Additionally, Dr. Chadwick has had the opportunity to provide clinical supervision to both Master and Doctoral level students in a variety of different settings and is extremely passionate about helping students grow into competent and ethical treatment providers. Her passion for teaching is further demonstrated through a large variety of trainings she has provided over the course of her career.

Dr. Chadwick has extensive clinical experience and training in the treatment of addictive disorders at nearly all levels of care, crisis intervention, as well as treating a variety of disorders including mood disorders, dissociative disorders, and trauma. She has completed additional training in utilizing the following therapeutic approaches: Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, as well as multicultural and relational approaches to treatment. Dr. Chadwick has had experience treating substance use disorders in a residential program for adult inmates at a Federal prison and was the Clinical Director of a residential treatment program for juveniles for nearly six years in the juvenile justice system. Most recently, she serves as the Program Director of an outpatient treatment facility for both adults and adolescents with eating disorders where she provides both partial hospitalization program and intensive outpatient program levels of care. She is most passionate about providing quality evidenced-based treatment and tailoring treatment to the specific needs of her clients while empowering clients to achieve their goals.
