Welcome to the home page for SMU’s university-wide initiative seeking reaffirmation of accreditation from the Commission on Colleges of the ÃÛÌÒ½´Association of Colleges and Schools.

SMU's accreditation was reaffirmed on December 2, 2021 at the annual meeting of the ÃÛÌÒ½´Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. The next reaffirmation of accreditation is scheduled for 2027.

ÃÛÌÒ½´is accredited by the ÃÛÌÒ½´Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, masters, and doctorates. ÃÛÌÒ½´also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
