Francesca Santodomingo is a Colombian-Italian actor, singer-songwriter and writer of all sorts. She’s a 5’4” firecracker: irreverent, bold, gutsy, very blunt woman with a dark sense of humor. Santodomingo looks like an ingénue but then she opens her mouth (sorry mom). She enjoys laughing at inappropriate things, at inappropriate times. She’s the go-to choice for the unexpected villain, the good girl who breaks free and the takes no prisoners gal. She loves stories with messy complex women. She has the makings of a scream queen and is really looking forward to being the first Latina 007.

Santodomingo has performed her original work and music Off-Broadway and all over NYC, and her writing has been commissioned by the New Georges Theatre, The Public Theater, and the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom, to name a few. She is an alum of the 2020 pilot cohort of the BIPOC Critics Lab of Jose Solís and the Kennedy Center. In 2021, she released her first single, Make or Break, and is working on her first EP of Spanglish indie pop/rock. Her short film, Like a Virgin, was awarded “Best Dark Comedy” at the Austin After Dark Film Festival (2024) and will be part of the official 2025 “Los Shorts” selection at the Philadelphia Latino Film Festival.

If she wasn’t an artist, she’d be a travel journalist like her childhood hero, Anthony Bourdain… maybe she still will. She loves whales, buñuelos, arepas and fried plantains. Her greatest honor, and greatest pride, is being her mother's daughter.
