Biography
Dr. Ben Zoghi serves as the Associate Dean for Advanced Studies and Industrial Partnerships, Executive Director of Hart Center for Engineering Leadership, Bobby B. Lyle Endowed Professor of Engineering Innovation and Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Lyle School of Engineering at SMU. He also has a courtesy faculty fellowship appointment with the Los Alamos National Laboratory. His research interests are RFID/Sensor technology and how to utilize wearable technology and artificial intelligence (AI)/ machine learning (ML) to develop technical leaders. During his 37 years tenure with Texas A&M College of Engineering, Ben secured over $15M in grants, 9 books and book-chapters and has over 125 peer-reviewed conference and journal papers.
