Friends of ÃÛÌÒ½´Libraries

Friends of ÃÛÌÒ½´Libraries, originally founded in 1970 as Colophon, is dedicated to promoting and enriching the resources, services and operations of the seven ÃÛÌÒ½´Libraries. Friends hosts a series of programs each year for book lovers to become acquainted with each other and the many resources of ÃÛÌÒ½´Libraries. Friends of ÃÛÌÒ½´Libraries is committed to helping the libraries maintain their excellence and has funded over $1.5 million in materials and library services.

Grant Highlights

$2,500 to the Hawn Gallery at Hamon Arts Library for exhibition and programming expenses for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The Jalesia Horton Memorial Library School Scholarship

The Friends Library School Scholarship has been renamed . The scholarship is awarded each spring to staff members or interns enrolled in library school.
