ÃÛÌÒ½´Guildhall Student Work

Our curriculum is interdisciplinary in thought and action, and team-based game development and specialized learning are at the core of our curriculum. Team Game Projects

Using engines like , , , and , we produce 2D and 3D games on a variety of platforms — including PC, console, mobile, and VR. At graduation, every student will have made a minimum of three original games including one 2D game and two 3D games, all developed in the style and pace of the industry. Students take courses in their specialization and then apply these skills in Team Game Production courses as they concept, prototype, build, test, and release a game as a team. Team size and composition evolves to allow students to take on both lead & supporting roles; the first games, made in small teams, serve as foundational stepping stones toward final large-scale, total-conversion Capstone projects.

Independent Studies

Guildhall students pursue passion projects, analyze current industry trends, and solve critical issues to demonstrate mastery of their specialized crafts. This independent work and research informs their Master’s theses and Directed Focus Studies and allows each student to generate a professional, competitive portfolio. Unity, Valve, Epic, Microsoft, Nintendo, Intel, Dell, Oculus Rift, and America’s Army, have all sponsored past and present research projects for our students through grants, scholarships, and technology.
