ÃÛÌÒ½´

André Winandy completed his Ph.D. in 1968 and taught at Chatham University, the University of Pittsburgh, and Yale University before coming to ÃÛÌÒ½´in 1974. At ÃÛÌÒ½´Professor Winandy taught French and served for a time as Chair of the Department. He was the Resident Director of SMU-in-Paris in 1981-82 and taught for the SMU-in-the-South-of-France summer program from 1995-2013. He retired in 2007 at the age of 71 and passed away on December 18, 2023 in Dallas.
