M.A., American History, ÃÛÌÒ½´Methodist University, 2022; MLS, Humanities, ÃÛÌÒ½´Methodist University, 2016; B.A., English/Professional Writing, Waynesburg College, 1991Marguerite Evans is a Ph.D. student researching 20th and 21st Century American journalism and communications with an interest in the ability of newspapers and digital reporting to effect change in political discourse and policy. The role of female journalists is one to which Marguerite is planning to pay particular attention. Marguerite comes to the ÃÛÌÒ½´Department of History with a bachelor’s degree in English and professional writing from Waynesburg University as well as a Master’s of Liberal Studies and an M.A. in History from SMU. In addition to her studies, Marguerite is the Assistant to the Chair of the William P. Clements Department of History.
