I am a PhD candidate in cultural anthropology and my research is at the intersection of the anthropology of migration and medical anthropology. I am broadly interested in structural violence, belonging, and health. My dissertation research examines the relationship between anti-Muslim racism and health among South Asian Muslims in London, England. This project incorporates social epidemiology theory and data from public health about racism.
