Maguire Energy Institute

The Maguire Energy Institute has been a leader for over four decades.

Maguire is recognized for industry leading programs and the ÃÛÌÒ½´Cox School of Business is recognized for its small class size, individual instruction and outstanding alumni network. Our programs contribute to produce energy leaders who are not just educated but informed, not just trained but skilled, not just degreed but prepared for today and tomorrow’s energy industry.

Global economic progress and human development relies on accessible and affordable energy—in all its forms. The Maguire Energy Institute addresses the world’s energy challenges through thought leadership, fostering innovation and advancing unbiased education and research. Together with the George W. Bush Presidential Center, the Institute regularly presents Stewarding a Sensible Energy Future, an invitation-only symposium connecting energy industry professionals, academics and business leaders.

Stewarding a Sensible Energy Future next takes place in early 2025. It provides an open discussion from varying perspectives on the impetus and barriers, the limits and tradeoffs, and the stewardship and transformation of our changing energy landscape.
