Here are some common questions and answers about attending a performance a McFarlin.

One of the three ticket windows of the McFarlin Box Office is specifically marked Will Call, unless another window or area is designated as a Will Call area by the event promoter.

Seats are labeled by the section letter, followed by a row letter, and seat number. The aisle doors are also numbered for patrons’ convenience. View the seating chart.

There is a ramp entrance at the Southeast corner of the building marked with signage for wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, or carts. This ramp leads to the lower lobby, with access to any level of the Auditorium via the elevator. The Auditorium has disabled sections at the back of sections B and D on the orchestra level as well as smaller carpeted areas at the front of sections A & E. Auditorium Management recommends you discuss your needs with a representative when purchasing your ticket.

Ticketing for children is dependent on the type of show it is and the policies of the event promoter.

McFarlin does not have a permanent Box Office operation, but tickets can normally be purchased or picked up from Will Call the day of the show, generally an hour and half before the performance begins. Purchasing tickets at the Box Office will not waive any ticketing fees placed by agencies like Ticketmaster, if the show is sold by such an agency.

Food and drinks are generally not allowed inside the Auditorium. The camera and video policy varies with each show and the wishes of the event promoter. For more information, please see the Permitted and Prohibited Items page.

Doors open an hour to half an hour before the performance begins.

Parking is located at the Daniel Parking Center (at the corner of  Daniel Ave. and Hillcrest Ave) or the Airline Parking Center  (located on Daniel Avenue at the intersection with Airline Rd.) View more informatiom and McFarlin Parking

McFarlin Blvd. (from Hillcrest) curves around the Auditorium's side and front entrances and is the best place to drop off friends or family members. The road is one way and continues to the entrance of the P-Lot (directly behind Dallas Hall), which if crossed, leads to Daniel Avenue.

The Administrative Offices, #G38, house the McFarlin Lost and Found. Please check with an Usher, House Manager or the Auditorium Manager to search the lost and found for your item. Any precious valuables are normally turned over to an SMU-PD officer at the event. Patrons can call ÃÛÌÒ½´Dispatch at (214) 768-8333 to check on lost items. The Auditorium is not responsible are any lost or left behind items.

The main restrooms are on the lower level, directly below the main lobby. There are additional restrooms on the second floor, on the North side of the building.

The Auditorium does not have a permanent concessions operation. Concessions will vary depending on the event. If sold, it would be located in the lower lobby.

Alcohol, if sold, would be located in the lower lobby.
