ҽin Dallas is a hub of amazing experiences and great opportunities to explore. This city has so many great restaurants, museums and fun activities.
Being a Mustang means being surrounded by a community that celebrates and supports you. Completing challenging coursework and participating in student organizations have given me confidence in my voice and are helping build me into the world changer I want to be.
ҽhelped me define and advance my educational and career goals. There are so many classes available to explore my passions. A philosophy class has been one of my favorites because it expanded my mindset and taught me to navigate difficult conversations and situations – great skills for a student on the pre-law track.

ҽin Dallas offers so many great opportunities for students and young professionals. With all that I’ve gotten to know and experience in Dallas during my time at SMU, I feel really comfortable transitioning from college to starting my career. And there’s a practical benefit: The campus move-in/move-out experience is easier when it’s in your hometown.
ҽhelped me develop important skills with challenging coursework, teamwork, hands-on projects and job-search training.
ҽhas shaped me into who I am today. Our campus culture helped me grow as a person and make great friends for life. I feel prepared to succeed in all aspects – educational, professional and social.

ҽin Dallas offers a culture that is unique to the state of Texas, and it is the best decision I could have made in selecting my university. There are so many opportunities in academics, student life, access to alumni, careers and more.
ҽhas helped me define my education as a holistic and high-performing acquisition. It has pushed me to reach and do everything in my power to achieve my career goals. I dream of becoming a lawyer and potentially a diplomat. Through SMU, I’ve had access to important resources and connections that take me closer to my career goals.
ҽhas shaped me into who I am today. I’m a better communicator, a kinder individual and an even harder worker. With the experiences I’ve acquired through coursework, campus involvement and work, I’m proud of who I’ve become as a student and as a person. It’s been more than I could have ever imagined.

Dallas offers everything. There is literally nothing you could long for in D-town.
ҽis a great liberal arts university. It gives students access to resources such as faculty mentors, internships and experiences. My first year, I sang with a men’s a cappella group at our beloved Celebration of Lights holiday event. ҽis my home and influential to my life. I will forever be grateful.
ҽhas shaped me into who I am today. It has broadened my point of view and shown me that I can achieve my goals with hard work. ҽfaculty members have professional experience in the fields they teach. I’ve seen firsthand what professionals in my career field can achieve.

Dallas is a lively, bustling city with a ton of places to visit and things to do. And it’s home.
ҽis a place where you can dream and achieve thanks to world-class professors who genuinely care about your well-being as a student and as a person.
ҽhas shaped me into who I am today. I will never forget how it felt after Convocation – SMU’s official welcome to first-year students – to walk out of Dallas Hall and realize that I was, in fact, a college student starting a new chapter. People here have shaped me in huge ways by encouraging and challenging me. I am forever grateful for the community I’ve created and nurtured here.
