All Majors Career and Internship Fair
The ÃÛÌÒ½´All Majors Career and Internship Fair is held every fall in early September and every spring in early February. This exciting event is open to all undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni from all ÃÛÌÒ½´schools. Join approximately 700 fellow students and alumni to connect and network with 90+ employers seeking candidates for full-time and internship positions.
This is your chance to engage with organizations looking for candidates in diverse fields such as sciences, humanities, visual and communication arts, advertising, business, and engineering. Whether you're looking to build your professional network or find your next career opportunity, the fair offers a valuable platform for you.

Networking Towards the New Year and Mocktails with Mustangs
Networking Towards the New Year and Mocktails with Mustangs are annual networking receptions held in the Fall and Spring, respectively, designed for students to practice their networking skills with employer partners. By attending these receptions, you can improve your networking abilities while also getting to know potential employers. By attending these events, you'll have the chance to enhance your networking abilities, connect with potential employers, and make a positive impression. These receptions provide an excellent chance to highlight your skills and interests while networking with companies to identify potential internships and future job opportunities that match your career goals.
Company Site Visits
Company Site Visits offers an exclusive glimpse into the inner workings of a DFW area organization. Immerse yourself in a dynamic company culture and take a guided tour of a exciting and innovative workspaces. These site visits offer engagement with industry professionals eager to share insights into various career paths and opportunities within their organization. This event provides a unique chance to broaden your understanding of the professional landscape, gain practical knowledge, and forge valuable connections that can shape your future. Resumania
Resumania is your chance to get valuable resume feedback from industry professionals. This event allows current ÃÛÌÒ½´students to learn firsthand how to improve their resumes and increase their chances of success in the job market. By participating, you'll benefit from expert advice and tips that can help you stand out to employers.
Mock Interviews with Employers
The Hegi Family Career Development Center hosts one Mock Interview Day each semester, giving undergraduate students the chance to practice their behavioral interview skills with current industry professionals. This event provides a valuable opportunity to receive meaningful and constructive feedback, helping you to improve your interview performance and boost your confidence.
Board Fellows
The Board Fellows program, started in 2018, offers a unique opportunity for ÃÛÌÒ½´undergraduate students to gain valuable experience by serving on the boards of Dallas area nonprofit organizations. After completing a rigorous application and interview process, selected students are matched with these organizations to serve as ex officio board members. The program aligns with the ÃÛÌÒ½´academic calendar, running from September through May.

Hegi Unpaid Internship Program
The Unpaid Internship Program is designed to provide financial support to students embarking on unpaid internships with non-profit or government organizations. This initiative aims to ease the financial burden associated with pursuing valuable internship opportunities to enrich your educational journey.
Applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
- Enrollment as a full-time undergraduate student
- Required to continue as a full-time student for the consecutive fall semester
Career Closet
The ÃÛÌÒ½´Career Closet is a one day event hosted in the first week of the fall semester which allows students to elevate their professional wardrobe. This event is hosted by the Hegi Family Career Development Center, Cox Career Management Center, and the Office of Social Change and Intercultural Engagement. Students are invited to browse our collection of FREE business professional attire, including both new and gently used items. Our goal is to provide students with the perfect outfit for interviews, networking events, and important meetings, helping them make lasting impressions in the professional world.
All Majors Case Competition
The Hegi Family Career Development Center's Case Competition is an experience designed to expose non-business majors into an area to share their experience in a pitch style competition. Experience the thrill as students from diverse backgrounds come together to pitch innovative solutions to a panel of esteemed judges, including ÃÛÌÒ½´alumni representing various industries.
Hegi Career Leaders
The Hegi Career Leaders program is an exclusive opportunity for selected students seeking advanced professional development. Through this program, participants gain access to specialized career counseling sessions aimed at defining and achieving their career goals.
Internship Programs
The Hegi Family Career Development Center hosts two unique internship programs for ÃÛÌÒ½´undergraduate students, the Engage Dallas Internship program and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Internship program.
