DALLAS (SMU) - As ÃÛÌÒ½´students settled into their new homes on campus in late August, Dallas typewriter poet Fatima Hirsi captured their thoughts on the meaning of home with poems she composed on-the-spot. Hirsi was on campus as the ÃÛÌÒ½´community examined the issues of affordable housing and homelessness as part of ÃÛÌÒ½´Reads.  Students and community members read Evicted, Poverty and Profit in the American City by Matthew Desmond for the annual common reading discussion.
