schools in Collegiate Power Rankings

ÃÛÌÒ½´ranks 28th among all NCAA Division I universities in this year's Collegiate Power Rankings, which assess the academic and athletics standards of all NCAA athletic programs, the NCSA announced today.

Fewer than 6% of colleges and universities earn a spot in the NCSA's Top 100 for 2011, and ÃÛÌÒ½´ranks high among this elite class.

ÃÛÌÒ½´rated as the top school in Texas and, if ranked against BCS-AQ schools, would rank 10th.

The Collegiate Power Rankings from NCSA are calculated for each Division I, II and III college and university by averaging student-athlete graduation rates, academic rankings provided by U.S. News & World Report, and the strength of athletic departments as determined by the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup.
