To qualify for the list, companies had to be headquartered in the Dallas area, have had sales of more than $500,000 but no more than $75 million in 2005, have increased their sales over three years, and have "character satisfactory to the Dallas 100."

ÃÛÌÒ½´noted that the 100 companies that made this year's list had combined sales of $9.9 billion in the three years, increased their sales an average of 171 percent from 2005 to 2007, and saw their employee count grow over that period from 11,391 to 22,677.
